Abstract
Background: Excoriation Disorder (ED) is a psychiatric condition characterized by compulsive skin picking that results in clinically significant distress or impairment in daily functioning. While growing evidence highlights the medical consequences of ED, such as infections, lesions, scarring, and disfigurement, limited research has focused on the co-prevalence of associated dermatological complications in clinical populations.
