Abstract
In this article published in the January 2017 issue of Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, page 69 in the print issue incorrectly lists the hours for human milk and infant formula as 2 and 4, respectively. The correct hours are 4 and 6, respectively. The corrected text is noted below in bold and updated in the online article.3. Follow the American Society of Anesthesiologists preoperative fasting recommendations 76 :
a. Human milk—4 hours
b. Infant formula—6 hours
c. Nonhuman milk—6 hours
