Cost-Utility Analysis of Midurethral Sling Timing Among Women Undergoing Prolapse Surgery EDITORIAL COMMENT
Obstetrical & gynecological survey, v 78(11), pp 642-643

Abstract
Approximately 25% of women in the United States are affected by pelvic floor disorders, with estimates pointing to a 50% increase in urinary incontinence prevalence and pelvic organ prolapse (POP) by 2050. Surgery for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is also often required, which adds to economic burdens of pelvic floor disorders. Determining the POP patients who would benefit most from concomitant midurethral slings (MUSs) remains a clinical challenge.
