Includes all described species in the Acrididae subfamilies Cyrtacanthacridinae, Caryandinae, Eremogryllinae, Egnatiinae, Rhytidochrotinae, Coopiocerinae, Leptysminae, Ommatolampinae, Proctolabinae, Gomphocerinae, Acridinae, Truxalinae, and Oedipodinae. Like the previous volumes, the information is based on a computer database of these groups as it stood at the end of 1994.
