Polymer based tissue engineering of bone

Abstract
In this study, several methods were examined for the creation of a synthetic bone replacement. SEM imaging revealed that matrix structure could be controlled through processing techniques. Based on the preliminary physical characterization of the matrices, it appears that they may be suitable replacements for trabecular bone.
