COURSES FOR HEALTH AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
pp 229-259
01 Jan 2011
Abstract
Designing courses for medical professionals requires knowledge of content as well as of environments in which these professionals will be working. Instructors should be prepared in both of these areas by studying, researching, and reading about topics their students are already familiar with in order to coach them in the language they will need to use to interact successfully in their respective environments. This chapter describes several courses that were developed with this purpose in mind.
