Abstract

Disease Model Embryonic Stem Cells Ethics OncoMouse Recombinant-Protein Transgenesis Xenotransplantation
Transgenic animals are the result of manipulation of specific genes of interest by creating animal models and bioreactors to (for example) produce vaccines and antibodies that can be used to help save millions of lives. These animals with altered genomes must therefore be used under strict ethical control.
