Abstract

Cubital tunnel syndrome Electromyography Epicondylectomy Nerve conduction studies Ulnar nerve
Ulnar neuropathy at the elbow is the second most common peripheral nerve entrapment in the upper extremity. In addition to appropriate history and physical exam, ancillary tests such as electrodiagnostic testing are often needed to ensure proper diagnosis and management. A variety of surgical approaches are available depending on the site and severity of the lesion. Repeat testing and revision surgeries may be required for persistent ulnar symptoms once other etiologies of ongoing neurological signs and symptoms have been ruled out.
