Establishing a Low Vision Rehabilitation Specialty Practice
Low Vision Rehabilitation, pp 379-397
2016
Abstract
Throughout this text, we have tried to establish the research and clinical basis for providing low vision rehabilitation as part of occupational therapy practice. We have emphasized that the ability to evaluate and treat low vision is necessary to meet the needs of many clients. Occupational therapists working with the adult population will encounter many clients with low vision, even if this is not the primary reason the client has been referred for occupational therapy.
