Abstract
Image-based brachytherapy for gynecological cancer improves outcomes and with decreased morbidities. This chapter provides practical clinical points for integrating 3D imaging into brachytherapy procedures and planning for various gynecological cancers including the cervix, endometrium, vagina, and vulva. It highlights both intracavitary, hybrid intracavitary/interstitial, and interstitial brachytherapy techniques.
