Abstract
Health care teams now encompass a range of health professions, including physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), nurses, health care students, social workers, representatives of community programs, and more. This chapter discusses how an LGBTQ-friendly interdisciplinary approach enhances patient care; identifies the role of various health care professionals in providing quality comprehensive care; and examines how consulting various services can be beneficial using a case-based approach.
