Abstract
In the 1972 film The Ruling Class, Peter O'Toole lifts up a table with the strength of his beliefs. By the time he has counted up to ten, the table had challenged the law of gravity and is floating in the air. Our notion of the ruling class does not encompass miracles. It should not necessarily be as close to God as the obsessed aristocrat masterly interpreted by Peter O'Toole. In fact, we have had enough of obsessed members of the ruling class. But we would certainly like to have ruling classes lifting up our economies...
