Minimally Invasive Techniques in Vascular Neurosurgery
Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, pp 331-344
2005
Abstract
A number of options exist to minimize the invasiveness of surgical intervention for neurovascular disorders. These include techniques such as endovascular therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery, which eliminate or reduce the need for traditional surgical approaches, and surgical adjuncts such as image guidance and microsurgical techniques, which reduce the invasiveness of those traditional surgical approaches.
