Abstract
Although neurosarcoidosis (NS) is a rare neurological disorder, several centers have collected dozens of cases, allowing some generalities to emerge. The publication of several large case series and some particularly revealing case reports has led to advancements in the areas of diagnosis and prognosis and, to a lesser extent, in the area of treatment. Basic science research in the area of the immunology of NS is particularly lacking.
