Abstract
Radial tunnel syndrome is a compression neuropathy of the radial nerve. Although controversy exists with respect to this diagnosis, there is a growing body of literature to support its clinical and mechanical presence as a source of elbow and forearm pain. Radial tunnel syndrome was first described by Michelle and Krueger

in 1954 and was first called radial pronator syndrome. As more information has emerged and further research has been performed, the condition has been termed radial tunnel syndrome and refers to compression of the radial nerve in the radial tunnel by various sources causing pain. More specifically, this entity involves compression of the posterior interosseous nerve (PIN) within the proximal forearm.
