Abstract

Like squamous cell carcinoma, sarcoma of the temporal bone is potentially fatal. Various kinds of sarcoma occur in the ear and related structures. Aggressive treatment is required in order to preserve life, unfortunately often at the expense of function of the ear, facial nerve, and other cranial nerves.
