Seven Guidelines from a Futures Course for Unionists
The Cyberunion Handbook: Transforming Labor Through Computer Technology
2001
Abstract
If CyberUnions are soon to take full advantage of the subject matter available in futuristics, they might want to collaborate with the very few academics earnestly trying to get the subject offered more widely and often in the nation’s 3,500 colleges and universities, to say nothing of scores of labor education centers. Pointers in this regard are offered below, along with insights into how labor might readily raise consciousness about, and make use of, a resource that has always been part of its toolkit… albeit in an unconscious and thereby underdeveloped way.
