Abstract
Chapter 14 examines the evolution of reflective practice of Cameron, an Olympic rowing coach and a coach developer. Reflective practice is the deliberate process of examining one's coaching actions, decisions, and underlying assumptions to foster continuous learning and improvement. It moved Camerons beyond routine delivery, helping him to understand why certain strategies work, where adjustments are needed, and how his own beliefs shape interactions with athletes, and subsequently, other coaches.
