Abstract

Great Current Interest Reciprocal Power Shell Model Spherical Equilibrium Symmetric Representation
The solution of two problems is outlined: (i) Given the phenomenological boson model, IBM 1, what is the equivalent Bohr Collective Hamiltonian? (ii) Given a generalized Meshkov-Glick-Lipkin model with n levels, what is the equivalent Bohr Collective Hamiltonian? The basic tool in each case is a well-known boson mapping for the symmetric representation of SU(n).
