Vision Impairment

Abstract
In this chapter, we will demonstrate that to be maximally effective in their therapy, occupational therapists should understand the complexity and importance of vision and how visual deficits can interfere with occupation. A vision screening protocol is described, and the chapter ends with a discussion of therapy techniques that can be used by an occupational therapist to improve eye movement and visual processing skills.
