Abstract
The vulva is a triangular-shaped structure composed of the labia and perineum immediately external to the vagina. Anatomically the urogenital diaphragm, clitoral hood, ischiopubic rami, and deep transverse perineal muscles bind the vulva. While as many as 5 % of vulvar cancers are multifocal, the most common site of involvement is the labia majora/minora (70–75 %).
