What Unions Can Learn from Nonprofits About Using the Internet • Mark Friedman
The Cyberunion Handbook: Transforming Labor Through Computer Technology, pp 66-73
2001
Abstract
Our political system has evolved in a way that favors employers over
employees. We must get involved in politics and try to change the slant.
Computer technology has developed virtually at the speed of light, and laws
have not kept pace with changes fashioned by such technology. We need to
lobby for laws that keep workplaces from turning into Orwellian nightmares.
