Abstract
The Dictionary of Bibliometrics provides definitions for some 225 "best known or recently used" terms taken primarily from recent work in the library and information science litera ture. Approximately 150 additional words and phrases are cross-referenced to the defined terms. In addition to definition or explanation of the concept at hand, the Dictiortary entries frequently include sample data and lengthy calculations of bibliometric measures.
