Abstract
Single-firm independent unions in America are truly the nation’s forgotten labor organizations. Almost entirely overlooked in the literature, the single-firm unions number possibly 1,500 organizations and include over 400,000 members across the 50 states - this union type is also found in Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, and elsewhere.
