A General Method for Nonlinear System Identification
1991 American Control Conference, v 1, pp 715-716
Jun 1991
Abstract
A method to identify a large class of nonlinear system by a simple topology of parallel-cascaded structure is developed. This is an extension of the single branch model of the LNL(Linear-Nonlinear-Linear) structure as previously developed by the authors. Theorems are presented to prove its validity and the algorithm is developed for this general method of nonlinear system identification. A numerical example is presented to show the relative ease of this method.
