Abstract
This study compares contrast-enhanced ultrasound measures of tumor neovascularity with molecular markers of angiogenesis in a human melanoma xenograft model. Both qualitative and quantitative results show that ultrasound imaging, along with the use of contrast media, may provide noninvasive markers of angiogenesis.
