Abstract
The DataNet Federation Consortium (DFC) is developing data grids for multidisciplinary research. As the DFC grid grows in size and number of disciplines, it becomes critical to address metadata management and findability challenges. The HIVE project is being integrated into the iRODS in the DFC architecture to provide a scaleable linked open data approach to scientific data sharing.
