Anisotropic and Nonlinear Optical Properties of 2D Transition Metal Carbides and Nitrides (MXenes)

Abstract
We report the experimentally retrieved anisotropic optical permittivity of several MXenes which indicate that these materials exhibit a hyperbolic dispersion relationship. Additionally, we describe the thickness dependencies of both linear and nonlinear properties of these MXenes.
