Abstract
In order to demonstrate that modal analysis and flexibility are valid and effective tools for the condition assessment of civil-engineered structures, a decommissioned reinforced concrete deck-on-steel girder bridge (steel-stringer bridge) was subjected to numerous nondestructive modal and truck-toad tests as well as a series of deliberately induced damages The modal test method of multi-reference impact testing was the experimental tool used to acquire the data through which flexibility would be derived.
