Abstract
American labor unions are making ever more creative use of computer power, to judge cautiously from their web sites & list serves. Examples are shared that deal with servicing members, educating members, enriching communications, & augmenting power. Pro-labor academics are urged to pay overdue attention to this development, as union enthusiasts for computer use are steadily gaining influence & power. Innovations in the matter just might help Organized Labor reverse its long & ominous decline.
