Experimental setup for investigating gamma transmission line models in the presence of non-fundamental frequencies
2007 IEEE POWER ENGINEERING SOCIETY GENERAL MEETING, VOLS 1-10, p4430

Abstract
This work describes the experimental setup designed within the Center for Electric Power Engineering at Drexel University to investigate electric power transmission line models, and specifically to study their behavior over non-fundamental frequencies. Thus far studies pertaining to a lumped equivalent gamma line model and a uniformly segmented gamma model (three segments) have been performed utilizing the experimental setup. The instrumentation and measurement set up allows for the study of waveform propagation (including attenuation and phase shift) and computation of observed impedance.
