Generation and transmission of millimeter wave signals using a mode-locked microchip laser
2000 30th European Microwave Conference, pp 1-4
Oct 2000
Abstract
This paper is concerned with the optical domain generation and transmission of high fidelity millimeter wave signals. The optical transmitter employs a microchip laser, which is mode-locked by a Gunn oscillator. The paper describes the design, fabrication and experimental evaluation of the transmitter.
