Abstract

Asymptotic stability Delays dynamic systems Energy measurement external delays Force measurement internal delays Linear systems positive realness Stability analysis Transfer functions
Positive realness of transfer functions is relevant to guarantee the global closed-loop asymptotic stability of such feed-forward systems under wide classes of nonlinear eventually time-varying controllers satisfying a certain Popov's type inequality. The closed-loop stability is achievable for any output feedback controller belonging to one such a class. The positive realness of linear dynamic systems, subject to point constant delays, is investigated.
