Eastern Sociological Society
01 Jan 1981
Abstract
Questionnaire data from 100 Ms who have been involved in a legal, post-1973 abortion have been analyzed by major demographic variables, attitudes, & impact/outcome answers. Of the Ss, 20% remain opposed to abortion, 25% continue to "blame" the F, & 50% have had afterthoughts about the fetus. Almost all wish high-school students were taught about abortion, Ms in clinic waiting rooms were offered counseling, & everyone came to recognize the difficulties many Ms have in this trying human dilemma.
