Pathways to Student Learning within HFOSS
Proceedings of the 17th Annual Conference on information technology education, pp 168-168
28 Sep 2016
Abstract
Preparing students for the complex mix of knowledge and skills needed for professional practice is an essential part of computing education. Students need both technical skills as well as professional skills such as communication, teamwork, and more. Helping students master fundamental technical topics as well as become problem solvers, communicators and team members is a challenge. This poster presents an approach that will hopefully improve undergraduate computing education by developing pathways through IT, CS, and SE curricula that can help address key challenges of computing education.
