Abstract
This volume contains papers delivered at the 20th Anniversary Ultrasonics International, one of the prime and leading international conferences devoted entirely to the science and technology of ultrasound. Although almost 430 papers were presented at the meeting, only 177 fully refereed papers are included here. This conference denoted as UI’03 and held in Granada (Spain) July 1–3, 2003, was the most successful yet in terms of participants and papers presented of the UI’s 40-year history. The program also included a widely attended pre-conference Tutorial Day.
