Abstract
The loss of experienced faculty can inhibit quality of learning, and contribute to student attrition. Since work-related stress and time-management in the asynchronous learning environment require online faculty to employ a wide variety of coping techniques, this study may help online faculty develop or expand current strategies that are effective in dealing with stress associated with teaching in the asynchronous online learning environment.
