This poster presents new developments related to GitKit, a scaffolded environment that supports both students and instructors in developing fundamental skills related to Git-based platforms like GitHub that are widely used in contemporary software development. The poster discusses the purpose and facilities of GitKit, including new capabilities, and preliminary data collection to analyze student skill development in learning GitHub tasks.
