Abstract
This dataset is part of the ESCALA (Study of Urban Health and Climate Change in Informal Settlements in Latin America) project that was funded by the Lacuna Fund of the Meridian Institute https://lacunafund.org/. Geographic layer with census blocks from Bogota. Each polygon represents a census block defined as the area bounded by public pedestrian or vehicular roads. The geographic layer was downloaded from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) https://geoportal.dane.gov.co/. The data were not validated independently. The original polygons were not modified.The attribute tables was modified by adding the attribute ID_BLOCK which is the same as the code MANZ_CCNCT in the DANE layer. All other attributes in the original layer were eliminated.
