Abstract
This dataset is part of the ESCALA (Study of Urban Health and Climate Change in Informal Settlements in Latin America) project that was funded by the Lacuna Fund of the Meridian Institute https://lacunafund.org/. This dataset contains the geographic boundaries of Zonal Planning Units (Unidades de Planeamiento Zonal or UPZ) of Bogota, Colombia as of 2018. The data were consolidated by the Secretaría Distrital de Planeación (SDP) and obtained from "Datos Abiertos Bogotá" on their official website: https://datosabiertos.bogota.gov.co/. The UPZ layer was obtained directly by downloading it from the "Datos Abiertos Bogotá" website. The following attributes were added to the locality layer: ID_UPZ, NAME, TYPE and AREA.
