Dataset
Impact of broadly targeted enhanced recovery after surgery protocols in hysterectomy versus other gynecologic surgeries
2025
Abstract
This dataset contains the minimal de-identified data used to generate the analyses presented in the associated manuscript. The data include postoperative opioid prescribing and consumption measures for patients undergoing gynecologic surgery before and after implementation of a broadly applied Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) pathway. Variables include procedure grouping (hysterectomy vs. non-hysterectomy), opioid prescription size at discharge (pill counts), patient-reported postoperative opioid consumption, unused pill counts, and postoperative refill status when available. No protected health information or direct patient identifiers are included.
