This dissertation explores the intersections of empathy, compassion, and conflict resolution through an autoethnographic lens, reflecting on Dr. Obadiah Baker's experiences as a Fulbright Scholar in Israeli-Palestinian relations. The study uses an integrated development framework to examine how transpersonal methods--such as expressive arts therapy, shadow dance, and storytelling--facilitate cross-cultural understanding and reconciliation. Through personal narratives, observational data, and reflective analysis, the research highlights the role of embodied artistic practices in fostering dialogue, breaking down systemic barriers, and promoting healing in divided communities. By centering on lived experience, this dissertation offers insights into the power of creative expression as a peace-building tool and its implications for conflict resolution strategies in broader geopolitical contexts.
