Bibliographical citations--Analysis Quantitative research Psychology
Quantitative science studies have developed unbalanced interests in the impact of scientific outputs and distribution of knowledge products, comparing to the processes in which knowledge and its representations are produced. The lack of research in the latter aspect is an important gap between the quantitative and qualitative communities of science studies, which prevents quantitative researchers from developing deeper insights into the nature of scientific knowledge and communication.
