Abstract
[From introduction] The COVID-19 pandemic placed unprecedented stress on the health systems world, impacting direct and indirect care staff. care and the behind-the-scenes roles essential to maintaining these systems. While much focus has been placed on the mental health challenges nurses face with direct patient contact, the experiences of nurse informaticians who manage electronic health records, information systems, and digital health solutions have received less attention (Que et al., 2020). These professionals have navigated increased demands for technology integration and remote care during the pandemic, and understanding their unique challenges is crucial.
