Although the benefits of perioperative chemotherapy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) are well established, the role of adjuvant radiotherapy (adjXRT) following pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) remains controversial. While the NCCN provides guidance regarding the use of adjXRT based on margin status, there is conflicting evidence supporting its role in nodal disease (N+) alone. [1st paragraph]
