People of color are getting burned by sunscreen makers
The Pittsburgh post-gazette

Abstract
We are taking the wrong approach to sun protection in the United States, particularly relative to skin of color. One of us has 20 years of clinical experience as a board-certified dermatologist, and the other is a medical student. Both of us have skin of color, and we can attest that currently available sunscreen products in the United States provide inadequate protection for non-white skin.
