Abstract
This thesis describes the implementation of a PDP-11 assembler written in PASCAL on PRIME computer. It discusses most of the features which MACRO-11 has and the way they are implemented. The working principle of the program is described and a syntax analysis is given. The portability of the program is discussed in last section.
