Abstract
This thesis explores the dynamic intersection of theater arts and business training, showcasing how the performing arts can enhance the development of essential soft skills. The workplace requires effective communication, teamwork, and flexibility; traditional business education alone isn't enough for continued success. Integrating the creativity of theater into professional training can create more opportunities for advancement in business. This research highlights that incorporating the dramatic flair of theatrical techniques, such as improvisation, scene study, and character development, into business contexts not only enhances employees' competitiveness and effectiveness but also boosts confidence and comfort in high-pressure, performance-like situations. Through qualitative analyses and interviews, the thesis demonstrates that theater arts can cultivate interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and innovative thinking. Ultimately, this work calls for a daring shift in business education, that welcomes the arts with open arms as a secret weapon for shaping a flexible and resilient workforce, poised to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. By taking center stage this research can redefine how we prepare future leaders of tomorrow.
