All change processes have their champions and detractors. Lewin (1951) explains that for all change processes, there are both positive forces driving people towards the change, and negative forces driving people away from the change. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the process of moving to a new course template at the Dornsife School of Public Health and in particular to look at which forces drove faculty towards making this change versus the forces that drove them away. At the end of this paper, I will present suggestions to continue to help increase the forces driving faculty towards adopting the new course template.
