Abstract
Interested in the potential intersection of wearable textiles and art therapy this paper examined the question, what does an art therapy intervention using garment creation look like? Examining literature around self-esteem, textiles, art therapy, possession attachment, group therapy, and therapeutic relationships. Using self-exploration, the basic method for this intervention is established and completed. The process and resulting garment were analyzed and shown in the process section. Finally, thoughts are given on potential further research and application of this intervention.
